Executive mandates : Where I create value

Growth becomes a leadership mandate when the system can no longer carry the ambition.

I work at inflection points—when a business must create a new source of growth, reconnect the commercial enterprise, or turn transformation into operating performance.

Six contexts
The fit

Not a title. A business condition.

The most consequential work begins with a problem that crosses the organization chart.

These mandates require more than functional expertise. They demand shared choices across market strategy, products, pricing, demand, sales, experience, technology, data, talent, and economics—and leadership that can make the whole system move.

01

New growth business

Build the business—not simply the launch.

The situation

A company has an asset, market opening, or adjacency with significant potential, but the proposition and commercial system do not yet exist at scale.

Where I contribute

Translate the opportunity into product, value proposition, pricing, economics, customer journeys, organizational capacity, and an operating cadence that teams can run together.

02

B2B growth engine

Turn market expertise into demand and revenue.

The situation

B2B is strategically important, but marketing, sales, solutions, channels, and customer economics are not working as one growth engine.

Where I contribute

Build the proposition, segmentation, brand, demand system, sales enablement, investment logic, and cross-functional organization required to gain share across business segments.

03

Commercial fragmentation

Reconnect the enterprise around the customer.

The situation

Functions are active and capable, yet decisions are slow, handoffs lose value, customer journeys fracture, and no one owns the end-to-end commercial outcome.

Where I contribute

Clarify the shared ambition, surface the seams, redesign decision rights and workflows, and establish common signals so expertise travels across the enterprise.

04

Revenue operating system

Make strategy executable every day.

The situation

The growth strategy is clear, but execution still depends on escalation, individual heroics, disconnected metrics, or a collection of function-specific processes.

Where I contribute

Connect the choose-to-demand-to-convert-to-deliver-to-retain flow with decision rights, data, technology, capacity, talent, cadence, and economics.

05

AI-enabled front office

Redesign the work before amplifying it.

The situation

AI activity is growing, but pilots remain detached from business flow, adoption, governance, and the measures that determine commercial value.

Where I contribute

Start where value stalls, redesign the decision or workflow, define the human and machine roles, and embed intelligence into an accountable operating model.

06

Scale, turnaround, and reinvention

Adapt the system to the moment.

The situation

A large enterprise, new venture, or investor-backed business needs a sharper growth logic and a commercial model suited to its economics and maturity.

Where I contribute

Bring an operator’s discipline to market choices, portfolio, positioning, routes to market, organizational alignment, and the performance system—without importing a generic playbook.

How I engage

The role should follow the mandate.
